About The Friends of HSM (FHSM Inc)

BACKGROUND -The Friends of Holbrook Submarine Museum (FHSM) Association came into being after a discussion in early August 2019. In September 2019, the formation of a support group for the Holbrook Submarine Museum (HSM) was formed. Initially, a management team was developed. Later a constitution and rules were set out as we progressed into a formal Association. Since then much work has been done with and for the Museum. We hope that you will share our vision and assist us as we go forward.

AIM OF FHSM – The aim of the Friends of Holbrook Submarine Museum (FHSM) Association is to assist The Holbrook Submarine Museum (HSM) and its Curator(s) with funding and practical assistance to ensure the museum’s artifacts, displays, and photographic records are maintained and developed. FHSM supports the strategic plan and direction of the Museum and its interface with the Submarine Institute of Australia (SIA) objective of a virtual national submarine museum and The National Maritime Museum’s involvement. We also support the goals and aims of the Submarine Association of Australia (SAA). We appreciate your support and comments and, also hope that you will encourage others to join us in supporting the Museum and its work.
