DON (DUCKRUN) CARROLL completed the 21.1 Km ½ marathon on Sunday.

HE DID IT
According to Don, I couldn’t have done it any faster than 2 hours 22 mins, and 30 seconds. The final 2 kms were tough as I was fading a bit. The previous 11 kms I was running into the sun.
To think I spent 9 months training for the event and I could have done more for preparation.
Thought you’d like to know I survived my very first half marathon, at 67 yrs old.
As he reports, “I am a bit sore with muscle fatigue, so I am taking it easy recovering. I learned so much from the exercise and am pleased I did this for those submariners who lost their lives for our safety today”.
We thank all who came on board with a pledge for what we believe is a great cause. It’s not too late to donate so dig deep folks and let’s get this project rolling
